Breathwork for businesses

Breathwork can offer huge benefits for corporate businesses and their staff.

We offer a range of options from a half day course via zoom, to in person, monthly drop in sessions, or a retainer system for when employees need a one to one session.

The benefits of breathwork to businesses

  • Stress Reduction

One of the main benefits of breathwork is its ability to reduce stress and promote relaxation. In high-pressure environments with high workloads and tight deadlines as well as potentially strict industry guidelines, incorporating breathwork can help reduce stress levels and improve overall well-being. (Fincham et al, 2023)

  • Improved Focus and Clarity

Practising breath work can enhance focus and mental clarity. By taking a few moments to engage in breathing exercises, people can calm their minds, improve their focus, and make better informed and more thought through decisions. (DeCouck et al 2019)

  • Enhanced Emotional Regulation

Breath work can help people to effectively regulate their emotions. By helping bring awareness to their breath, individuals can better manage their reactions to challenging situations and maintain emotional balance in the face of difficulties. (Frontiers in Psychiatry)

  • Enhanced Resilience

Regular practice of breath work can build resilience to stress and adversity over time. By developing coping mechanisms and stress management skills, individuals are better equipped to face challenges and recover from any setbacks or negative outcomes.

  • Improved Health and Well-being

In addition to its mental and emotional benefits, breathwork can have positive effects on physical health. Improvement of the whole respiratory system leads to an improvement in all of the body’s other systems including the cardiovascular system, the digestive system and overall brain health. (Forbes 2023)

  • Reduced Absenteeism

Deep breathing exercises can help reduce blood pressure, promote relaxation, and boost the immune system, leading to overall better health and fewer sick days. This has been backed up by research conducted by The American Psychological Association. Absenteeism costs the UK £18 billion in lost productivity.

Research by CIPD and SimplyHealth found that employees were absent for an average of 7.8 days per year -the highest level in the last decade, over 2 days more then pre-pandemic levels. This survey was taken across 918 corporate organisations with a total of 6.5 million employees and it highlighted stress as a significant factor in staff absences, in fact 76% of those surveyed reported stress related absences in the past year. The cost per employee day lost is £237 per day so this constitutes a loss of £1,848 per employee per year.

Testimonial

“Charlotte delivered a breathwork session to my group and it was absolutely phenomenal! Charlotte helped us feel secure and comfortable from the very beginning, explained in careful detail how the session would unfold, and helped us understand the science and practice behind this powerful modality. I found myself easily entering a deeply relaxed state in which I could easily access answers from within as well as receive messages from other realms. It's hard to explain exactly the magic of what happens in just an hour with Charlotte! I'd highly recommend this practice and Charlotte's guidance to anyone who wants to connect deeply, release blocks and access powerful insight and support.”
